Eat Your Coffee

This may sound too good to be true but you can really Eat Your Coffee!

Growing up in a Caribbean household like I did meant that coffee was one of the first scents I smelled. Coffee time was all the time. I remember Abuela (my grandmother) allowing me to dip my finger into her cooled off coffee to try it, each and every time she brewed herself a cup. Now as a mom of two I turn to coffee for super powers. To add on to the magic that comes with drinking a cup of coffee, now I can eat it too!

The story behind Eat Your Coffee began in a college dorm with co-founders Johnny Fayad and Ali Kothari. Their mission was to help people feel energized and get more done with naturally-caffeinated snacks that are made with real ingredients.

Each Eat Your Coffee bar is caffeinated with a cup of coffee and made with base ingredients like Nut butter, Oats, and Dates. The company supports the farming communities by only using Fair Trade coffee. The coffee beans come from a farming cooperative in Nicaragua. It actually won first place in a coffee competition, The Cup of Excellence. The coffee is then sourced from Grounds for Change, which is a family-owned and operated coffee roasting business.

Not only are the Eat Your Coffee bars tasty but they really do provide a boost of energy without a crash. They are vegan, gluten-free, and non GMO...I would add guilt-free to that because they are definitely a snack you can eat and feel good about. The bars range from 170-190 calories. They currently offer three different flavors: Fudgy Mocha Latte, Peanut Butter Mocha, and Salted Caramel Macchiato.

It doesn't get any better than this! Eat Your Coffee is a mom must-have. You can purchase Eat Your Coffee bars directly from their website here, at a suggested retail (search locations on the Eat Your Coffee website) or through Amazon here.
